Skate the Ring is again part of the  “Bayern Inlincup“, “Austrian Inlinecup”  and “German Inline Cups“. Furthermore, for the 4th time the Austrian Championships over the Marathon distance will be held. Besides the absolute inline speedskating World Elite and the Marathon Fitnessrun, also the kids and youngsters will have great race possibilities on the Salzburgring. The Kids (AK5/9) can take part in the Kids Race (Obstacleparcours with Slaloms, layed eight, high-speed curves, a Labyrinth and a 40 cm high see-saw, etc.) the AK10/11 take one lap (4.255 km), the AK12/13 two laps (8.510 km) and the AK14/15 takes the Halfmarathon (5 Runden). They will start in a separat block as part of the main Inlinerace. 

TRACKPROFILE:

The black ice over 4.255 km with a minimum width of 10 m, 12 curves incl. 2 chicanes, a max. grade of 3,8% and 25 m total climb per lap is exclusively belonging to the Speedksaters and Rollerskiers at the race day of “Skate the Ring”. The 10 laps (Marathon) on the Salzburgring are selective and based on the total climb of 250 alitude meters also demanding for the leg extensor muscles. Two easy downhill sections with safety space built for 300 km/h allow a short recovery.

Registration here. Attention: Teamregistration for the GIC please directly via Julia Seifert. Each team gets one free start-place and the GIC organizing team is warmly welcome  to take part in the 10 laps.
